Love Your Heart

The heart is a muscle comprised of four compartments. It receives blood from the body. The blood is pumped into the lungs where it is oxygenated. It is then returned to the heart and pumped out where the blood is distributed to the various parts of the body.

There are many things you can do to “Love your Heart.”

 

There is a strong connection between mental and emotional health and an individual’s heart health.

 

Diet and lifestyle also play a strong role in heart health.

 

What does this mean?

  • Exercise daily
  • Hydrate
  • Engage in social activities that make you feel good.
  • Attend yoga, tai chi or meditation groups/workshops.
  • Deal with issues around love/feeling unloved and stress. See a counselor, and/or talk with your Naturopathic Doctor.
